St. Patrick's Day.
AT COOROY.
Celebration Committee Formed.
At a meeting held recently in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Cooroy, a strong committee was formed to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The following are the office bearers of the committee: President, Rev. Fr. O'Brien P.P: vice-presidents, Rev. Fr. O'Rourke, and Mr. A. Gordon: hon. sec,. Mrs. M O'Day : treasurer. Rev. Fr. O'Brien, P. P.; members. Mesdames Bell. A. Bow. Miss Nellie Nolan and Mr. J.J Carroll. It was unanimously decided to hold a ball on March 17. and to supplement that function with a social to be held beforehand. The committee arranged to meet at a later date to make arrangements for hall and orchestra, and to fix the date for the social as well as arranging the prices of admission. The public can look forward to an enjoyable time on St. Patrick's night.
