Each month we receive a print copy of the UK Family Tree magazine. 

As well as the lateset updates on family history news, this issue takes a forensic look at family heirlooms, includes a planning guide for 2024, answers some DNA questions and Richard Morgan reports on the vast vessels of the East India Company. The article about early blood transfusions is enough to make a vampire shiver!

Use your local library card to access family history magazines and many others through RBDigital. There are more than three and a half thousand magazines available.

Download the app to your to your iPad, iPhone or Android device then sign up with your Noosa Library card. If you would prefer to read on your computer screen visit RBDigital on the web and set up an account there.

A wealth of audio and ebooks are available as well as comics and the amazing wide range of magazines. Choose Magazines from the menu and once you have browsed through the endless titles available, filter by the genre History, or simply search by title for these family history titles shown below.

When you find a magazine you would like to borrow it is a good idea to View all Issues then select the particular issue you wish to checkout. More than one magazine can be borrowed at any one time as shown below.

To see the latest additions to the library catalogue use advanced search without entering any search term. See below.

Any of the collections can be searched in the same manner. If you would like to know the titles of all the journals held simply select the Journals Magazines and Newsletters collection. Go to individual records within the results list to determine whether the journal is a print copy or a copy held on our members' only Heritage site. Visit the Heritage Centre to access the e-journals.
