Morning tea with the Mayor and councillors

On Wednesday 19th May the Group hosted a morning tea for Mayor Clare Stewart and four of the Noosa Shire councillors. John Hartley, the president of the group took the opportunity to thank the council for their ongoing support. Members of the group chatted with the councillors about their roles within the group as well as their family history interests. Several councillors are long term residents of the Shire and were interested to learn about the local history collection held in the group's library.
