Unexpected connections sometimes surprise. At an education session the facilitator asked for a family name to demonstrate an internet search. An audience member suggested a familiar name, but it could not be found. She suggested an alternate name, also on another member's family tree. Later they discovered a shared ancestor who had arrived as a convict.
